Alexandra Speck, Account Executive

Alexandra Speck is an award-winning journalist, author, blogger and Certified Fundraising Executive. She was a reporter for The Patriot LedgerBeacon Hill Times, and WCAI/The Cape and Islands NPR Station. Prior to Pierce-Cote, Alex worked for four years at Community Health Center of Cape Cod as a Development and Communications Associate. She also served as the Director of Education and Grants at Cotuit Center for the Arts and taught Creative Writing and Drama at Falmouth Academy.

Alex received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Columbia University and attended Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. She is the recipient of an Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing and has been featured in the local news, television, and radio. Alex grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio and spent her summers on Cape Cod. She now lives in Falmouth with her family and two dogs.
