Mike joined Pierce-Coté in 2025 with 25 years of experience as a working journalist and media relations specialist. Following a career primarily in television and radio, including five years at Cape Cod Broadcasting, Mike transitioned to the other side of the microphone, as the sole media relations contact for the Animal Rescue League of Boston, one of the largest nonprofit organizations in Massachusetts. In this role Mike implemented numerous communications strategies and projects, drastically increased the public face of the organization working with journalists across the state and garnering thousands of annual media hits in addition to a number of high-profile national placements, including Good Morning America. Mike was raised on Cape Cod, a graduate of Nauset High School, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Keene State College and an MA from Emerson College.
